Don’t Have to Go Out for Romance

Mycroft likes to pretend he’s the smoothest, but he’s secretly a total romantic who constantly second-guesses his elaborate date plans. He keeps booking swankier, more exclusive dates until Greg pecks him on the cheek one night and tells him he’d be fine just having a night in.

After that they tend to just stay home on the couch in soft shirts and pants and their idea of a special evening becomes a Classic Who episode with a bottle of wine and some of that curry Greg likes from the little place with the picture of a fat cat in an Arsenal shirt in the loo.

Sherlock deduces and smirks and says the romance has gone out of their relationship and they just smile because he’s so, so wrong.

There’s a headcanon that Lestrade has tons of awkward and dumb photos about Sherlock on his phone, videos too of course.
I think they could make a thing from this hc. Like, while the closing credits are on screen there are photos in slideshow from Greg’s phone, maybe short clips when Sherlock is drunk or something. Photos about Benedict when he’s doing silly faces (as Sherlock obviously), Sherlock when is totally unamused in his hat and Greg has taken a photo about that and stuffs like that.
